True Love? Russian actor, 84, finally ties the knot with his 24-year-old fiancée

Ivan Krasko, famous for more than 140 roles in Soviet and Russian films, has finally walked down the aisle with his new wife, Natalia Shevel, who is only 60 years his junior. Despite criticism from many, the
pair described their relationship as a match made in heaven. They met while the father-of-six was teaching fine art at St Petersburg Institute of Liberal Education.




Ms Shevel, as one of his students then, began writing him poetry which he said made a huge impression on him. Ivan has been married 3 times before to younger wives. The couple say they feel they cannot spend a single day apart. Ivan, who is already a grandfather-of-three and will turn 85 in two weeks, said that the relationship prior to their marriage remained platonic, but he now hopes they will have a family together as they both want children.

He said he has not yet met her family, although she had been introduced to his sons. He proposed by getting down on one knee and presenting Ms Shevel with a diamond ring. Ivan said that one of the first things his sons asked him was who was going to get the family’s country estate, but he has assured them that nothing in his will would be changed….. so Shevel will only b getting the “D” based on request. He promised to b gentle on her n nt kill her in bed….
